As the Mohitz sound takes over dance floors throughout the South, singer/ songwriter/ producer/ Roi “Chip” Anthony releases another hot new single, “Gonna Do Me,” for the step and swing out audience.
“Gonna Do Me” is a an alternative to the standard break-up anthems; instead of wallowing in sadness, Chip sings about happily moving on and focusing on himself. “I refuse to lose myself just to satisfy someone else / I think it’s time that I do what’s best for me, I’m gonna do me,” he sings.
The video shows Roi rolling out and living well; if this doesn’t make you feel good, I don’t know what will!
