Along the same vein as Jay Z’s song of the same name, August lets the rhythm and melody do the mourning for him. “They say a man ain’t supposed to cry / So I’ma let the song cry,” he sings on the chorus. Be on the lookout for the video to drop soon.
August is prepping his sophomore LP, This Thing Called Life, before year’s end.
