Sevyn Streeter follows up her Chris Brown-assisted lead single "Don't Kill the Fun" with the brand new offering, "4th Street."
On the biographical song, the singer-songwriter highlight moments in her life where positive people (strangers to family) influenced how she sees the world. "It's my kind of people," she sings.
"4th Street" is a touching homage to good people and Sevyn makes you feel that realness.
Sevyn is prepping her debut album, On The Verge, the follow-up to her 2013 EP, Call Me Crazy, But…, which arrived at No. 5 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
"The moment before something great happens….you can feel it! This album is my "something great". My thoughts, desires, fears, tears, emotional ups, downs, good times, drunken nights & unforgettable memories all rolled up into one body of work," says Sevyn. "We’re all “ON THE VERGE” of something – whether it’s a wild night, a break up or a breakthrough! I’ve experienced all of the above & I’m ready for whatever else the world throws at me! That’s why I chose “ON THE VERGE” as my album title!"
'On the Verge' is scheduled to be released this year via Atlantic Records.
