Mariah Carey kicks start the musical promotion around her forthcoming greatest hits album, #1 to Infinity, by dropping the brand new single, "Infinity."
On the triumphant break-up anthem, the R&B diva relates to her own personal life by singing about the ending of a relationship. Carey's music my last forever, but she understands that there is no infinity to a relationship.
"Close the door, lose the key, leave my heart on the mat for me / I was yours eternally / There’s an end to infinity," sings Mariah.
A music video has been shot and will arrive soon.
Along with this single, '#1 to Infinity' features Carey's 18 Billboard Hot 100 hits. The set will arrive on May 18 via Epic Records.
In related news, Carey will kick off her Las Vegas residency on May 6.
