Dawn Richard follows up the futuristic visual for “Tide” with another creative and artsy music video, this time for “Choices: The Interlude,” a record from her latest album, Blackheart.
In the clip, Richard, with the help of director Jayson Carter, forms an interactive bond with motion art as she delivers her message of choosing self.
Dawn’s sophomore album, Blackheart, the follow up to 2012’s Goldenheart, is in stores now.
“Blackheart is the fall; I lost my Grandmother five months ago, my father found out he had Cancer seven months ago; he has Lymphoma, and it can’t be cured, and then the DK thing happened. That was the year I had. For me, I don’t respond to things, I just go into a hole; I kind of disappeared, and just wrote,” states Dawn.
