Like hip-hopsters Wiz Khalifa and E-40, Cali sibling singing duo Jake&Papa take on Dej Loaf’s “Try Me,” only for an R&B spin, and I must say, it’s just what the song needs. They don’t add a load of verses for a new song, just smooth vocals to the already sing-songy groove.
“Try Me is killin the streets right now,” they say. “The melody is so catchy, you find yourself just humming it even when the song ain't on… & when that happens, different lines start poppin in your head.. Like, "your nigga don't like me, he despise me. But you can tell that square ass nigga Bite Me!'… So we decided to put our R&B twist on it & record it.”
