The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards is off and Running.
After a "Bang, Bang" opening performance from Ariana Grande (who started the show with "Break Free"), Nicki Minaj (who followed with "Anaconda"), and Jessie J, Katy Perry and Juicy J's collaboration, "Dark Horse," took home the night's first Moon Man for Best Female Video.
Perry's "Dark Horse" beat out Beyonce's "Partition," Ariana Grande & Iggy Azalea's "Problem," Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX's "Fancy," and Lorde "Royals."
Perry also won Best Female video in 2013.
