Apparently this video has been out for over two months now, but hey…better late than never!
The newly-divorced cast member Porsha Williams has released "Flatline," an emotional ballad clearly inspired by the rough divorce from ex-husband Kordell Stewart, as documented on the show. Produced by Chris "Traxx" Rogers, Porsha displays surprisingly pleasing vocals stemming from the raw emotion of her real-life, personal situation.
"I’ve been working on this song throughout the whole divorce and the whole season, mapping out my emotions and putting in things that I’ve gone through," she said.
"Flatline" is from an upcoming EP, but don’t expect it anytime soon; Porsha says she wants to complete the project organically, as inspiration flows.
"I’m not gonna really jump all the way out there because these are coming from my heart. So as they come, I’m not gonna put too much on myself and say 13 [tracks]… a whole album. These songs are definitely an anthem, for all women,” she said in an interview with TheGrio.com earlier this year.
