Beyonce Accompanied By Solange at Chime For Change Event, Donates Hefty Sum

Beyonce looked business sexy while attending last night’s Chime for Change one-year anniversary event at the Gucci store in New York City. The international superstar rocked a white jumpsuit and her normal hairstyle after ridding herself of the braids.

During the charity event, Queen B made her presents felt by digging in her pocket for a hefty donation.

“At the Gucci Chime for Change event in NYC, Beyoncé just announced a personal donation of $500,000 to the charity,” WWD confirmed on Twitter.

Bey was joined by her sister Solange, who also provided musical entertainment for the night.

According to the website, Chime for Change is a global campaign that helps strengthen and unite the voices of women all around the world.

"We focus on using innovative approaches to raise funds and awareness for projects promoting Education, Health and Justice for girls and women. To date, we've rallied support through a global concert event, a series of short documentary films, a range of technology-driven solutions, and by highlighting the stories of girls and women everywhere who want to see change. With your help, we've funded more than 300 projects in nearly 80 countries. And we're just getting started…," the website states.
