Former 702 Lead Singer Meelah Tapped For Next Edition of R&B Spotlight (NYC)

The Singersroom sponsored R&B Spotlight is back at New York's SOB’s on Sunday, May 4, 2014.

As we continue to support Grassroots talents, R&B Spotlight pledges to celebrate the melodic sounds of your favorite national and local R&B talents. Hosted by Roble, this month will feature performances from Brittany Tanner, Andre Davis, Phaze 3, Alisa Joe, and Gyrl Problems, with a special performance from former 702 lead singer and new R&B Divas addition Meelah.

As previously reported, Meelah and former Destiny’s Child member LaTavia Roberson will join Monifah Carter, Syleena Johnson, Angie Stone and Keke Wyatt for TV One’s popular series R&B Divas following the departure of Faith Evans and Nicci Gilbert.

Over the years, Chart-topping superstars have headlined shows including Carl Thomas, R.L. of 90’s R&B group, Next, Kenny Lattimore, Musiq Soul Child, Marsha Ambrosius, Mario Winans, and Sisqo, lead singer of multi-platinum group Dru Hill.
