Fantasia and Tamar Braxton Talk Grammy Nominations

Friday brought major news and celebration of music to the forefront for both Fantasia Barrino and Tamar Braxton. Both recording artists received at least three Grammy Award nominations in both song and album categories.

Reacting to the news, Fantasia took to Instagram, where she shared a picture of herself and discussed her three nods.

"3 nominations: best traditional r&b performance, Best R&B Song "without me" and Best urban contemporary album?? Lord I just want to Thank You!!!," Fantasia wrote.

All three nominations stem from Fantasia's fourth studio album, "Side Effects of You," which features the hit singles "Lose To Win" and "Without Me."

Fantasia is expected to attend the Grammy Awards in January where she will find out if she will add another coveted Grammy to her mantle following her win for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance in 2010 ("Bittersweet").

In related news, Tamar Braxton is also celebrating three Grammy nominations, including nods for her hit single "Love & War."

Braxton is nominated for Best R&B Performance ("Love and War"), Best R&B Song ("Love and War") and Best Urban Contemporary Album ("Love and War").

The 56th Annual Grammy Awards will air Sunday, Jan. 26 on CBS.
