Keeping all those in mind who won’t be able to be with loved ones this holiday season, Ne-Yo takes on Marvin Gaye’s 1972 holiday original “I Want To Come Home For Christmas” for “The Best Man Holiday” soundtrack, which will be available everywhere Oct. 29 and feature holiday classics and originals from Mario, John Legend, and Jordin Sparks. “The Best Man Holiday” hits theaters on Nov. 15.
Originally intended to be released as a single for troops in the Vietnam war, “I Want To Come Home For Christmas” was written by Marvin Gaye and Forest Hairston, and was eventually included on the Motown holiday collection "A Motown Christmas" album.
