Ciara's anticipated Epic Records debut, "Ciara," just became her fourth album to debut within the top three on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
Debuting Wednesday, the album arrived at no.2, just behind Jay-Z's praised effort, "Magna Carta Holy Grail."
With songs like "I'm Out" and "Body Party," the album moved a total of 59,000 copies within its first week of release, which is an improvement over last project, "Basic Instinct."
"Entering at No. 2 this week behind Jay Z is Ciara, with her self-titled fifth album. It starts with 59,000 sold, an improvement over the 37,000 that greeted her last set, 2010's "Basic Instinct," Billboard reports.
"Basic Instinct," featuring songs like "Speechless" and "Ride," debuted and peaked at no.44 on the Billboard 200.
