Justin Timberlake has the potential to clean up at this year’s 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, coming in strong with six nominations (Video of the Year, Best Male Video, Best Pop Video, Best Collaboration, Best Direction, and Best Editing) tying with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Both Timberlake’s videos for “Mirrors” and “Suit & Tie” ft. Jay-Z take up the bulk of his half a dozen noms.
Bruno Mars follows not far behind with four (Video of the Year, Best Male Video, and Best Pop Video), and Robin Thicke and Pink tie with three noms.
The Brooklyn Barclays Center will host the 30th annual MTV award show, a first for both the new arena and the borough.
