Tamar Braxton is ready for daytime television and all that comes with it, including criticism.
Coming from a background that includes two reality series ("Braxton Family Values," "Tamar & Vince"), the "Love and War" singer seems to believe that she's heard any and everything so, nothing anyone says will bother her.
"I'm so used to the haterade," Tamar told USA Today. "It really does make you stronger. What else can you say about me at this point?"
Set to appear on "The Real," a new talk show that begins airing today (Monday, July 15), Braxton is aware of comparisons to shows like "The View" and "The Talk," but says "The Real" offers something a bit different.
"It’s compared because it’s also five women, but this is a younger version of those shows. We appreciate those shows because they set the blueprint, but sometimes, in our lives, we need a different perspective," Braxton shared in a separate interview. "We want to hear from a girlfriend, we want to hear from a sister, so this is what you get."
Slated to air for six weeks, "The Real" also features Tamera Mowry-Housley, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Bailon.
