Kirk Franklin will officially expand on his long-term relationship with BET this year, taking on a new reality competition series.
The longtime "Sunday Best" host has produced and plans to host "Gone Gospel."
Described as a "Gospel boot camp," "Gone Gospel" will give several familiar recording artists a chance to renew their lives and careers with the help of Gospel veterans and greats. They will record new music and in the end, one will win the competition and a prize.
An premiere date has not been announced for "Gone Gospel," but you can catch Kirk Franklin on the anticipated new season of "Sunday Best," which premieres in July.
