Mariah Carey Confirms ‘Dem Babies’ On Album, Summer Release

Mariah Carey will have a special collaboration on her forthcoming album and it will be with one of "Dem Babies," as in her twins.

"My little girl (Monroe) is going to be appearing on the album. She can't really put a complete sentence together (yet). She was one years old when she started, but she did a good job," Carey confirmed during an interview Monday.

While a release date has not been set for the album as of yet, Mariah Carey says it will arrive this Summer and it will feature contributions from notable songwriters and producers. That list includes Jermaine Dupri, Bryan Michael Cox, Hit Boy, Big Jim Wright and Rodney Jerkins.

She has also tapped "American Idol" top three contestants Candice Glover, Kree Harrison and Angie Miller, who contribute background vocals.

As previously reported, Mariah will be premiering the music video for "Beautiful," her new single, Wednesday night on "American Idol." She will also open Good Morning America's Summer Concert series later this month.
