Jarvis has been known for his music business associations with So So Def's Jermaine Dupri and DTP’s Ludacris, but in the first episode of his new web series, he goes pass the name dropping. He returns to his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma to retrace what led him to pursue a career in music.
"Tulsa is a unique place, a place with a lot of history, a place where a lot of great things have happen, great people have come from, but nobody knows about it. It is like the lost world or something,” said Jarvis.
His connection to his city was driven home with the remark, “That is how it ties in to me.”
After cashing in his talent for a record deal at age sixteen, Jarvis has been through music business 101: lost label contracts, an independent career, and career setbacks. Now he is in full control, building his foundation through his vision for a successful debut with a new record deal on Capitol Records.
