Usher is doing very well on "The Voice" this season, but there was some trouble during a taping last week. According to the New York Post, an overzealous fan made quite the scene, yelling things like "I want you" to Usher and had to be escorted out by security.
"The woman was blowing her whistle and yelling Usher’s name,” a source told the NY Post. Another witness said the woman was “pointing at Usher and exclaiming, ‘I want you!’" over and over again.
Disrupting the taping, the woman went on to blow a whistle for at least a minute, which led security to ask her to stop. She refused, calling out Usher's name again, and was then escorted out.
"The security people escorted her out to the street," a well placed source added.
As previously reported, Usher has been working hard with his team, hoping that one of his contestants will win this season. He has recruited Pharrell Williams to assist with mentoring and coaching "Team Usher."
"The Voice" returns tonight (Monday) at 8 p.m. on NBC.
