Chrisette Michele is angelic, yet regal on the cover artwork for her upcoming album Better. Surrounded by all white, Michele lounges like Egyptian royalty, a reflection of where she’s at in all aspects of her life.
“I’m wearing mostly white this year just because I feel I’m in the best space I’ve ever been,” Chrisette told Rap-Up.com. “And I think white exemplifies that pure feeling.”
"For the first time in my career, I feel like, you know what, I’m going to just put this out there, if you like it you like it, if you don’t you don’t," Chrisette told Singersroom. "I’m not trying to prove anything…The heart is rich, my art is rich, it’s honest, it’s pure, it’s true, it’s me. Love it or leave it!
Better (headed by the single “A Couple of Forevers”) was originally slated for April 30th, but has since been pushed back to June 11, as Chrisette is currently on tour with Keyshia Cole. Confirmed features on the project are Wale, Music Soulchild, and 2 Chainz.
