Rising R&B singer B. Smyth made his debut on BET's "106 & Park" Monday.
Stopping by to perform, B. Smyth answered a few questions, including how he feels about comparisons to Chris Brown and Usher.
"I definitely take that as a compliment. Those guys influenced me to do what I am doing now and I can only hope to have the same success as they did," said B. Smyth.
From getting signed to working with 2 Chainz, B. Smyth said it was a grind to just get to where he is now and he hopes to do a lot more.
"It was definitely a grind. Once I decided that I wanted to do music as a career, I just went hard with it. I was doing everything I could just to get people familiar with my name," he shared.
