Teyana Taylor set up shop in Houston, TX during the recent NBA All-Star Weekend to launch her Adidas Originals Harlem GLC. In her first collaboration with the sneaker and apparel company, she set a sales record.
"Teyana's shoes are the first pair of sneakers in Adidas history to sell out so fast," says Jonathan Wexler, Global Director of Entertainment and Influence Marketing at Adidas.
Teyana designed the limited edition retro style sneakers, which are fabricated with premium Italian bronze leather, and an EQT midfoot strap.
She has already begun the design process on a second pair of Harlem GLC's with new colors. "Thinking of a master plan for my next sneaker. Next go around it will be enuff for EVERYONE!!!" she stated. Taylor gave fans a sneak peek of the kicks featured in black and red color patterns.
The tentative schedule for the retail date of the sneakers is Black Friday November 29, 2013.
