The expectation is that you are going to hear a collection of love songs then move on to the next artist. There are EPs, albums and mixtapes dropping about every five mintues. Hopefully one or two songs grab your attention. Newcomer Elle Winston shrunk her chances because she only had five songs to choose from on her new EP 'Uncertainty.'
No track was the same lyrically or sonically. The diversity of the instrumentation was rounded out with her deliver of salon topics like "Sister" and "My Black." The relatable themes were personal for her and for ladies whom worn similar shoes as Elle. In order to pick favorites from the project, you have to break it down to the emotion as each song pulls a different chord.
A Brooklyn transplant, Elle received formal music training while earning a BM in Vocal Performance at Arizona State University. Before landing on Singersroom's radar, the soulful vocalist released three projects starting with 'The Other Side of Marvin's Room' in 2011.
If you are in New York City on Feburary 21st, 2013, purchases ticket to see Elle perform live at Hot 97's Who’s Next? Series.
