Chris Brown hasn’t had the best luck these past couple weeks. First a Frank Ocean fight then the prosecutor’s court filing last week, alleging Brown did not complete the 180 days community service ordered by the court, and his most recent setback, a run-in with the paparazzi, which lead to a car crash totaling his Porsche. All in all, the 23-year-old singer was able to make it to the Grammys in a white Lanvin suit with smiles at hand. In good spirits, Brown answered questions on his mishap with the paparazzi, the Grammy’s, his favorite artist of this year, and what direction he predicts music will head in for the new year with E! New’s Ryan Seacrest.
Making it to the Grammys despite the car crash…“It’s cool, I’m fine. A little bit of bumps but I’m good"
The Car…“I’ll get another one, insurance is good.”
Accident & Run-in with the paparazzi …“You know, it’s a couple of crazy things. Paparazzi can tend to get out of hand. It’s all good though. No injuries I’m fine.”
What he was looking forward to at the Grammys…“Tonight, I’m just looking forward to the performances. A lot of great artists are here so I’m just happy to be apart of it. The Grammys is always a great and elegant place to be so you know, I’m happy to be here.”
Favorite Music this Past Year…“Favorite music this past year, Miguel man. I think he’s had a great and wonderful year and to be kind of from an R&B background, like he’s taking that and he’s doing his thing.”
What’s next for music…“I’m hoping it’s just real music. A lot of the music now a days, I love it, but you know it’s very gimmicky, even with mine, some of my music is gimmicky, but I just want to go back to the real music. You know, a lot of instruments, the real band essence of being able to perform and being an entertainer.”
We're certainly looking forward to the musical Chris Brown.
