Rihanna’s much anticipated collaboration with River Island is finally arriving and set to be exclusively revealed at London Fashion Week and will be on sale starting this March.
After the February 16th debut at London Fashion Week, the collection will be then available online and in stores at River Island globally on March 5th. However, for those of us who don’t have access to the British high street fashion brand, the line will also be available at Opening Ceremony in the U.S. and Japan.
Ever since her big style transformation back in the Good Girl Gone Bad days, the bajan beauty has been deemed more than just a pop star but a style icon. She’s regularly landed on best dressed lists, has an upcoming fashion TV show on the Style network titled “Styled to Rock,” released a denim line with Armani, and now will soon be debuting her 2013 collaboration with River Island. It’s safe to say the people want more than music from the “Diamonds” singer and she’s ready to give them more and more accessibility to her style.
Rihanna recently expressed her excitement of the launch.
"Launching at London Fashion Week is a dream come true for me. I have wanted to design my own collection for a long time and to present my collection for River Island alongside all of the other great design talent at LFW is a real privilege. I can't wait to see the reaction from my fans and the fashion press!"
