Chrisette Michele has released “Better” and she’s sounding just as sultry as usual.
Set over a nice jazz piano, the vocals on this love song make the songstress sound like she’s showing off just for fun. She opens up her mouth and magic happens. And the lyrics in this song are just as lovely as Ms. Michele is.
“Let the cupid take me wherever he wants me to go, fly me to the moon like an old jazz love song. Cupid do what you want to do, the choice is yours. But when I get to where you’re taking me love’s got to make me feel better,” croons Chrisette.
“Better” is off Chrisette’s Motown Music Sampler Vol. 1. It’s also the title of her album set to release in 2013. Love is cool too but at the moment this song is more than enough to make anybody feel better.
