After issuing the late Whitney Houston’s final recording “Celebrate,” a duet with Sparkle co-star Jordin Sparks, RCA has unleashed a second recording from the R&B great. Houston performs the Gospel classic “His Eye is On the Sparrow,” which is taken from a scene in the upcoming remake.
According to insiders, Houston left everyone on set in tears following the scene. The gut-wrenching cover will more than likely create more tears as it forces listener’s to remember how great Houston was.
Sparkle opens in theaters August 17.
