Purple Ferinand may not appear like a typical soul or rhythm and blues singer due to her fashion style and piercings, but the 23-year old East London native, who is a skilled tattooist, has the vocal chops that will make you pay attention.
In the music video for the acoustic version of her single “Beautiful Anomaly,” the singer/songwriter Ferdinand strums her Ukulele as she blends the elements of nostalgic, folk and soul.
Her poetic approach definitely gives her an edge in capturing new listeners.
