Ledisi Announces “BGTY” Headline Tour, Plus New Book

Following the success of her “Pieces of Me” trek, seven-time Grammy-nominated singer Ledisi will hit the road again for another headlining tour. Kicking off June 24, in Philadelphia, PA, the 27-city North American tour, dubbed “BGTY” (Be Good To Yourself), will make stops in major cities across the U.S. footprint before wrapping August 5 in Atlanta, GA. Joining Ledisi on the national trek is none other than soul crooner Eric Benet.

In addition to the tour, Ledisi will be making several festival runs including Hampton Jazz Festival on June 23, Essence Music Festival on July 7 (Main stage) and Cincinnati Jazz Festival on July 27.

Known for doing mind-blowing live shows will perform fan favorite cuts like “Alright,” “Higher Than This” and “Goin’ Thru Changes,” while seducing them with new classics “Pieces of Me,” “Stay Together” and “Bravo” off her latest album the multiple Grammy® nominated Pieces of Me.

In related news, Ledisi is ready to conquer the publishing world, with her first book “Better Than Alright: Finding Peace, Love & Power” on Time Home Entertainment, Inc. Ledisi sat down to write a book that could be used as a “real life” inspiration to others. The book, an innovative collaboration with ESSENCE, is filled with the singer’s personal photos, quotes, lyrics and richly detailed stories of the Grammy nominee’s journey to acceptance of her beauty, talent and power.
