End the summer with Group Without a Name’s “Summer Time”
Group Without a Name (GWN) was established January of 2009 in the basement of Lulu Vere Childer’s Hall (the Fine Arts Building) at Howard University. At the time of its inception, the members of GWN were freshman who differed in many ways, but despite these differences, they combined their musical styles and created a sound of their own. Initially the group was only four members, (Isaac “Izzy” Bell IV, Shacara “FL Song” Rodgers-Bradham, Kayla “Lady K” Waters and Ashton “Mookie” Vines) however, by the end of 2009 they had welcomed members Justin “Jay” Frazier and Luan “Sanka” Watson to the fold. Recently as of 2011, Colin Chambers has completed the seven piece super group.
