Shortly after the Super Bowl last night, T-Pain felt the need to vent. In light of his much delayed fourth studio album RevolveR, The R&B Auto-tune man lashed out at hackers via his twitter account on why he plans to leak his own album.
“Since nobody wants to respect this form of art that you all say we âloveâ so much, Iâm just gonna go ahead and start leakin’ the album myself tonight, Pain writes. âWell maybe I shouldnât rant but everybody was lookin at me strange when I said I didnât wanna drop my album, itâs not that album sales werenât doing good for hip hop and rnb, it just felt like no one respected âmusicâ anymore.â
âYou know what, you guys enjoy the post game and Iâll find my own ways to take care of my family. Oh and btw the âI Am T-Painâ Toy Microphone is comin in June (google that). To all the hackers and leakers thanks for showin interest in my music but I feel like Iâve been taken advantage of when Iâm just tryin to let ppl know whatâs goin on with my music and then you audio highjack it for your own amusement I would have been happier if you would have just waited to get a better quality version of the song but itâs cool itâs pretty much my fault anyways, so for the most part ya’ll can suck a fart out of a homeless manâs a**.â
âAnd to the fans, I know I talk a lot of sh*t but Iâm a cool dude and I wanna say that without yâall and Tallahassee and Akon and Bu and the nappy headz and the team that I have now, I wouldnât be half the guy I am today so thank you as well. Here we go again YASIMELIKE.”
Shortly after T-Painâs message, two tracks leaked, including âBes Luv Songâ featuring Chris Brown.
