Rapper Fabolous has confirmed past speculations that he will record an album with label mate and R&B crooner Ne-Yo. The two, who previously collaborated on the 2007 hit single “Make You Better,” allegedly had plans for a while to record a duet album and now Fab has finally confirmed something is in the works.
âI think this year too I might be doing this project with Ne-Yo finally,â he told XXLMag.com. âWeâve been in talks for a minute. Itâs really sounding like itâs gonna get done. Ne-Yo is really hyped about it. I just fell back on it, but now I see the wheels are turning a little bit. I think we need that for the game. Some of the allure from the game is gone. You see people doing less numbers, so now letâs do some vanity projects where people are collaborating together.â
“Make Me Better” is the third single from Fabolous’ album From Nothin’ to Somethin’. The song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 96 and has peaked at No. 8. The single also spent 14 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Rap Tracks.
Are you guys looking forward for this collaborative project?
