Curated during the âSingle Ladiesâ hitmakerâs international concert tour, the deluxe DVD/Soundtrack edition – including the concert DVD, a live soundtrack, intimate documentary, a 40-page collection of never-seen photos and more – was released November 30, 2010 and still holds the #1 position on Nielsen SoundScan Music DVD chart.
The DVD is certified platinum in Brazil, where Beyonce played to an audience of 60k, Platinum in the UK and certified gold in six countries including France, Australia and Canada. The set follows Beyonceâs Multi-platinum, âI Amâ¦Sasha Fierceâ album, released two years ago, and has went on to sell more than six million copies and 15 million digital singles worldwide, while earning a record-breaking six Grammy Awards.
Produced, directed and edited by Beyonce for her own Parkwood Pictures, the âI Amâ¦World Tourâ concert film creates the Beyonce concert experience, seen from the artist’s perspective, weaving together peak concert and tour footage from 108 shows, 78 cities, 32 countries, on six continents with 1.1 million fans in Europe, Asia, South America and North America.
Beyonce has been nominated for two Grammy awards, including Best Pop Female Vocal Performance (“Halo” Live) and Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals (“Telephone” w Lady Gaga.)
