R&B singer Que Mosley, a former member of the hit group Day26, is stepping into 2011 with a mission for solo success. Laying the ground work, Que recently dropped a new mixtape, entitled Guitar Her, which he says is stripped of the ‘big’ sound and ‘big’ production to showcase his artistry. “I was learning to play the guitar and I realized that the guitar is like a woman, her body is my instrument, and I’m her muse,” says Que. “I want people to see beyond what was depicted of me on TV, that I am a regular person, not a diva, not a ‘celebrity’. I’m just Qwanell. The direction that Guitar Her as an album will allow me to do that.” âGuitar Herâ is lead by the soul-bending single âMedicine.â In 2011, Que will release the Guitar Her Unplugged EP, Which will remain consistent with the mixtape, exuding he strength of love, the sensual side of every man and his passion for music. “I want to tell my story of the journey my way with the same honesty and realness that you hear in a guitar, says Que. âThat’s why the Guitar Her follow-up EP that will be coming out in 2011 will be entitled ‘Guitar Her Unplugged’. This will be performed and recorded live with a band and will allow me to share that honesty, and realness with my fans that you can’t hide in a live show.” Download Que Mosleyâs new mixtape âGuitar Her.â
