British Songstress Leona Lewis Tapped To Bring More ‘Heat’ to South Beach

Orange Drive recently announced that British pop and R&B sensation Leona Lewis is anticipated to sing at the inaugural “Jam on the Sand” festival. The impressive beachside amphitheater – which is said to hold 8,000 fans – is where Lewis will kick off the three day South Beach event on New Year’s Eve with a 40-minute performance. The three-time Grammy Award nominated songbird has been soaring the charts for years – her most famous single “Bleeding Love” earned the number one spot in over 30 countries. “She is a passionate artist with a soaring voice. With the addition of Leona, we most definitely have an all-star roster lined up at Orange Drive,” says Gary Cioffi, CEO of Union Square Agency, one of the developers of the Orange Drive. Named “Top New Artist” by Billboard Magazine in 2008, this British beauty’s first album titled Spirit holds the record for being Britain’s fastest-selling debut to date. Her sophomore album did just as well reaching number one on the British charts, as well as in the top ten in Austria, Ireland, and Switzerland. Multi-platinum albums, international success, and soulful lyrics are just few elements that solidify the fact that Leona Lewis will be a force to be reckoned with in the new year. Fans, friends, and media alike will join Lewis as her soulful voice rings in 2011. For more information about Orange Drive, please visit
