During a probation progress report hearing today (November 18) in Los Angeles, Judge Patricia Schenegg showered 21-year-old R&B star Chris Brown with praises for working diligently to complete the ordered community labor hours and domestic violence classes, saying âout of thousands of probationers, no one has ever done a better or more consistent job than you haveâ¦youâve done a very good job.â The singer was sentenced to five years of probation and six months of community labor after assaulting then-girlfriend and pop star Rihanna in February 2009 after a pre-Grammy Awards party. Since being convicted of felony assault last year, Brown has completed 581 hours of community service, leaving 819 hours to complete, and has only seven more domestic violence classes remaining. Brown will be back in court to give another update on his progress on January 28th.
