Rihanna Feeling ‘Independent’ With Last Girl Title

If you were wondering what Rihanna was thinking when she titled her forthcoming tour the ‘Last Girl on Earth’ tour, we have answer straight from the “Rockstar 101” singer. Speaking shortly after a celebrated performance on American Idol, Rihanna admits the tour is more about her feeling free and focused on her career and life. “I like to think about myself as the last girl on Earth, because sometimes people make decisions based on the outlook of others and, you know, to me, my life is my life,” she told MTV. “It’s my world, and I’m going to live it the way I want to. That’s how I think about everything. That way I’m focused on me and my work. It’s a really narrow space, a focus.” As previously reported, the Last Girl on Earth tour kicks off this summer, with support from fellow chart-topping artist Ke$ha. Sought after rapper, Nicki Minaj had been scheduled to join Rihanna and Ke$ha but has officially stepped away from the effort to work on her debut album. At this time there is no word as to if she will be replaced with another act.
