T.I. Picks August For Comeback Effort

T.I. is tacking on a few months to make sure his comeback album is the best it can be. Originally rumored to be set for a June 2010 release, T.I.’s as-yet-untitled follow up to “Paper Trail” will now be released in August. According to the recently released rapper, there was no time to piece the effort together while behind bars as previously thought. “I didn’t get a lot of time to (produce material). It was a lot of activity around me so, I wasn’t really motivated to create,” TI shared in a statement late last week. The as-yet-untitled album will likely end up tying in with T.I.’s forthcoming film role with Chris Brown in ‘Takers,’ which has also been pushed back to a summer 2010 release. It had been scheduled for release this spring.
