Def Jam recording stars Rihanna and Ludacris dominate this week’s Billboard Charts, not just claiming the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100, but the Billboard 200 Albums chart ! Ending Taio Cruz’s run at no.1 with “Break Your Heart,” Rihanna’s smash single “Rude Boy” claimed the top spot on the Hot 100 Thursday. Following previous no.1 singles, including “Umbrella” and “S.O.S.,” Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” leaped 4-1 after a 23-8 climb earlier this month. In related news, Ludacris earned his fourth no.1 album this week. Titled “Battle of the Sexes,” the album, featuring collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Flo Rida, Monica, Ne-Yo and more, sold 137,000 copies to claim the top spot.
