Jackson ‘This Is It’ Closed At International Box Office

It truly is ‘it’ for fans of Michael Jackson at the international box office. According to Sony Pictures Jackson’s “This Is It” documentary closed after a several week run this week. While the film is now closed to theaters, news of its total gross has officials smiling. According to Sony, ‘This Is It’ raked in $180 million internationally since its release in October of 2009. The next step for ‘This Is It’ is DVD and Blu-ray. As previously reported on Singersroom, ‘This Is It’ will make its way to retailers January 26 with additional footage and select videos including “Smooth Criminal” and “Thriller”. Now on QVC fans can order ‘This Is It DVD’ with four collectible post cards. In related news, sources say ‘This Is It’ has earned $72 million in the United States thus far.
