Glam’d: Iman – Reinventing Yourself

When it comes to fashion, hairstyles, make-up and many other trends, we tend to turned to celebrities to get some of our inspirations. No wonder big corporations are ready to use and spend big money to attract them for advertising campaigns.

One celebrity that I have been admiring for a long time is Supermodel Iman. Even thought, I am sure that she can still rock the runway like a diva, nowadays, Iman is a busy business woman. She is the founder and CEO of Iman Cosmetics designed for women of color. She is also the host/executive producer of Project Runway Canada, a show in which 16 designers compete to show their collection at Toronto Fashion Week but only one designer will be declared the winner and make it into the fashion world.

This supermodel/ entrepreneur is always evolving with new ventures and broadening her horizon. She designed Iman Global Chic, a line of handbags, jewelry, and fashion accessories that are sold exclusively on HSN.COM. This woman is doing it all with brain, beauty and style. When it comes to fashion, make-up and hair, I can understand why Supermodel Tyra Banks considers her a role model that paved the way for her and women of color. Whether she is sporting seductive curls, flipped layers, sleek layers, short and edgy hairstyles, she is indeed a fashion Icon.
