Beyonce, Jay Z and Lady Gaga cleaned up at Thursday’s MTV Europe Music Awards in Berlin. Beyonce, leading the pack with three awards, took home Best Song (“Halo”), Best Video (“Single Ladies”) and Best Female. Close behind, Jay Z and Lady Gaga earned awards for Best Urban and Best New Act respectively. Tokio Hotel, U2, Linkin Park, Placebo and Eminem also took home awards for music released earlier this year. In addition to the awards, Lil Kim, Jesse Metcalfe, Leona Lewis, Joss Stone, Shakira and Katy Perry took part in the celebration of music (see photos from the red carpet here).
