After coming close to winning MTV’s Pop Group last year, four member male group Ju Tuan say their new album is all about a struggle and fight to remain authentically Ju-Tuan since the show. “The album is about our struggle; itâs about our fight and itâs about showing people where we are right now,” Ju-Tuan’s Jake tells Singersroom. In their recent sit down with Singersroom, Ju-Tuan admitted that it has been a struggle to stay true to their mission and sound but, more than anything to avoid the pressures of the industry. “I think that the purpose of Ju-Taun in this industry honestly, is to show people that it doesnât have to be a certain way. You donât have to fit into the box that they are trying to make you fit into in the industry. Thatâs one of the things that we see. Countless times when we meet with record executives and A&R; they want you to fit in a certain way; they want you to be a certain way; they want you to answer a certain way and we just wanna be us and do our thing,” says Jamie of Ju-Tuan. “That’s one of the main reasons why we’ve been independent for so long.” Click HERE for more of Ju-Tuan’s exclusive interview with Singersroom.
