Janet, La Toya and Rebbie Jackson are grateful to fans and the city of Los Angeles for the immense amount of support seen Tuesday. “We are extremely grateful for all the support. We love you all,” Rebbie Jackson shared with fans at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre. As previously reported on Singersroom, ticketed fans who were not admitted to the Staples Center were able to view the memorial at the nearby Nokia Theatre. “One more thing, I want to thank the city and all the support we’ve received from everyone,” Jackson went on to say. In video obtained by TMZ, La Toya Jackson took the stage and gave the longest of three statements shortly after Rebbie. Jackson, showing appreciation, told fans that her brother Michael “always said that his family is first and his fans are second and I know that he’d be so happy that you’re here supporting him. And he’s watching every last one of you. I just want to thank you all for being there for him. He loves you all very much.” According to Los Angeles based outlets, the city took on a reported $1.4 million debt partially hosting Michael Jackson’s memorial.
