R&B singer Usher’s wife, Tameka Raymond, has checked out of the hospital according to a Sirio-Libanes Hospital spokesperson. Raymond, who was briefly placed in an induced coma, has reportedly recovered after spending nearly 11 days at the Brazilian hospital. News of Tameka Raymond’s surgery scare surfaced on Feb. 8, just before the Grammy Awards and Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy bash where Usher was due to perform. Sources say Raymond checked out Monday night, but declined to comment further. Ellen Dastry, a spokeswoman for the doctor who was to perform a lipo suction procedure on Raymond, reported that the singer’s wife suffered cardiac arrest while being anesthetized ahead of a “simple liposuction” at Sao Paulo’s Sao Rafael Hospital.
