At the 2012 Billboard Music Awards, John Legend and Jordin Sparks paid an emotional tribute to Whitney Houston. Seated at a piano and accompanied by a full orchestra, Legend put his spin on Houston’s hit “The Greatest Love of All,” belting the epic ballad as photos of the late singer appeared above the stage.

Leading the pack with a total of twelve awards, Adele picked up Top Female Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Pop Album, for "21," and Top Alternative Song, for "Rolling in the Deep." She also earned Top Artist and Top Billboard 200 Album.

Joining a line up that includes Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Brandy, Usher, and Monica, Keys will not only perform with Stevie Wonder. She will be presenting the legendary talent behind songs like "Superstition" with an Icon Award.

While Drake and Justin Bieber lead the pack, with nominations including Video of the Year, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and Beyonce are among those nominated in International categories.

R&B will be represented well with three strong voices come Sunday. Gladys Knight, Monica and Brandy have been confirmed to present at the Billboard Music Awards.

Chris Brown will be joining Usher and Justin Bieber as a confirmed performer slated to grace the Billboard Music Award stage.

Adele, Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Chris Brown are among those with leading nominations in categories including Top Hot 100 Artist, Top R&B Artist and Top Male Artist. R&B talents including Miguel and Cee Lo Green are also nominated.

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards have wrapped. In addition to it being a historic night, following the tragic death of Whitney Houston, the Grammys turned out to be a big night for Hip Hop and R&B -- this despite the controversial elimination of categories like Best Contemporary R&B Album.

Following his much anticipated return to the Grammy stage, Brown accepted Best R&B Album, one of three nominations he held going into music's coveted night.

Cee Lo Green and Melanie Fiona's collaboration, "Fool For You" dominated the R&B categories at this year's Grammy Awards. Fiona was on hand to accept two awards for the recording including Best R&B Song and Best Traditional R&B Performance, Sunday.
