Alicia Keys, Chris Brown and Lil Wayne lead this year's American Music Award nominations. Each artist received at least three nominations including Artist of The Year.
Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the 2008 American Music Awards are slated to air Sunday, Nov. 23 (8:00 - 11:00pm ET/PT) honoring this year's top recording stars.
Alicia Keys, who released "As I Am" last year, picked up five nominations including Artist of the Year, Favorite Female Artist Soul/R&B and Favorite Album Pop/Rock.
Not too far behind, R&B singer/actor Chris Brown earned three nominations including a nod for Favorite Male Artist where he goes head to head with Usher and Kid Rock.
J. Holiday, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Jordin Sparks, Rihanna and The Dream were also nominated (see nominees list below)
For the second year, winners will be determined by online voting at amavote.com, the official voting location (votes will be collected from October 14 to November 7).
You are also able to vote for the T-Mobile "BreakthroughArtist" Award. The nominees for this special award are Colbie Caillat, FloRida, Jonas Brothers, Paramore and The-Dream.

I've always admired Alicia's amazing voice. I read here (http://www.projectweightloss.com/index.php) about the trainer who helps her stay in shape and, wow, no wonder she looks so great.
