R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo is happy with two of his recent tracks, one of which was a complete surprise to the hit songwriter.
According to Billboard, the new Lindsay Lohan uptempo track “Bossy” was one surprising entry on his docket; "I gotta admit, we were like ... Lindsay Lohan?" Ne-Yo says with a laugh. "I mean, I've written for Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Celine Dion and ... Lindsay Lohan? But I will say this; we gave her a quality record and she did a ridiculously fabulous job. I was so shocked I had to call her and apologize for what I was thinking because she did so good. I think the world is gonna be surprised."
Besides “Bossy,” Ne Yo whose “Year of the Gentleman” album drops in August is happy with his work on Usher’s new album “Here I Stand” in stores today. "I actually got to sit down with Usher and talk to him and see where his head is at now so I could write the right record," he says of the song “His Mistake.”
Ne-Yo is currently on tour with Alicia Keys and Jordin Sparks through June 18th.
Ne-Yo, be proud of yourself. You are very talented and can write for anyone.

Ne-Yo I don't know why you were so shocked you could make anybody sound great. You make people want to listen to a song for the words and not the beat or vocalist.Thats very talented and you should be proud of yourself.
