After a strong demand from other cities for her upcoming North American tour, R&B Legend Tina Turner has added more shows to the itinerary.
The initial round of concerts went on sale May 10 and the launch date--Oct. 1 in Kansas City, MO--sold out in two minutes. More performances were added last week and now, second nights have been added in San Jose, CA; Newark, NJ; and Uniondale, NY, while a third gig was tacked on in the Los Angeles area.
The updated North American itinerary includes 28 shows across the U.S. and into Canada through mid-December. Turner also has plans to launch a European outing early next year.
The trek is expected to feature a major production to complement hits spanning her four-decade career.

Hey to whom it may concern, I remember the Ike& Tina Turner Revue back in the day. I also remember Little Anthony and The Imperials, and how much of an impact that they had on me and my friends, growing up in Toronto Canada, which ata that time was a city that embraced R&B.Actually the singer of the band I was in at the time, was really influenced by Little Anthony's vocal inflections. So I say that Tina's management needs to get step up to the plate and book Little Anthony and the Imperials as the opening act for the up and coming tour. Hey if you don't it's your loss. Regards Steve Thomas

Glad to see the announcement of the tour - should be GREAT!! I haven't seen any mention of an opening act for the tour yet.
As the touring bassist for LAI (Little Anthony and The Imperials) - I'd like to say I think they would be the perfect act for the slot.
