Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams goes another route with “Unexpected,” after releasing two gospel albums.
Driven by heavy bass and curvy synth, “Unexpected” is more R&B/dance bassed. The disc marks the follow-up to her 2004's "Do You Know" and 2002's "Heart to Yours."
The first single off “Unexpected” will be the synth-heavy "We Break the Dawn."
However, Music World CEO Mathew Knowles insists "Unexpected" isn't that much of a stretch, considering the characteristically quiet Williams spent the bulk of 2007 playing the sexy character Shug Avery in Oprah Winfrey's Chicago-based cast of "The Color Purple."
"Destiny's Child fans bought Michelle's last album (which sold about 78,000 copies)," said Knowles. "So now those fans are in their late 20s and early 30s. With 'Unexpected,' she'll be able to appeal to those fans and reach back to the 16-year-old audience and hit mainstream pop radio."
"We Break the Dawn" is the first single, set for release in April, while "Stop This Car" is the second.

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a women that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Michelle, let God use you to be an example of what He can do with a life totally yielded to Him. You will want for nothing.

As a matter of fact listening to Yolanda Adams helped wean me out of the world and into Christ when I was living as a vampire back in the day (97-98). I used to be in Vogue and Glamour magazine and music videos and commercials. I ran with similar circles so I do understand your struggle. But now I'm on my way to serving the Master Christ with everything that is within me. He so worthy! There is a transition a process that has to take place but the Lord is gentle and shall tarry with you til you are made over again into His very image actually. That can be you and imagine your platform so you could be very instrumental in of great service for His purposes, His pleasures. Forget the world. It has no salvation for you only heaps of yokes and beasts of burdens.

Lastly, word to Michelle if she reads this; Stay with the Lord. He will bless you for it. Remember the Word does say to be a friend of the world is to be an enemy of God. It is what it is. No sugar coating it with guile (artifice, cunning, trickery, etc.)
I'm not mad at’cha. I understand your territory. Even still living a life devout for the Lord is not easy but the Lord never said it would be. Be encouraged still my sister as I look forward to your full return to your first love. The Christ. Only he is worthy of your testimony. Fame is fleeting and empty at the end of the day. it can never satisfy you like the joy the Lord has for those who truly seek after Him with their whole heart. the Lord's understanding is unsearchable. your role-models in the music industry should be like CeCee Winan and Yolanda they are doing it for the Kingdom and the Lord is blessing them both in the here and now as well s eternally.

. No one wants to give God any credit for the giftings and the callings. Yea, they feel they are doing him a favor when they receive a Grammy award in giving Him shout-out (I would like to thank God) like He is some common mortal or demigod. God help us all. God have mercy on our souls. Forgive us for we know not what we do. in Jesus Name I pray. Amen

The Word of God states to those who resist the temptation... They shall receive the crown of life. Now one must discern and supplicate the very temptation you are being faced with. Remember to resist the devil and he shall flee from thee. The deeper side of this issue is the Lord permitted Michelle to be apart of one of the most renown girl secular pop groups in the world. Don't you think she should be rubbing off on them and not the other way around? Her witness for the Lord could sway and persuade Beyonce and Kelly to turn full circle and submit to the Lord their talents and gifts thereby winning souls for the Kingdom of God

I have to agree with the chuckster: you can't serve two masters either you will love the one and despise the other but you can't play the middle ground. the word of god says a double-minded man(person) should not expect anything from the Lord. Nuf said on that.
moreover, I believe she should stand her ground and be proud of who the Lord made her to be. I pray my siter becasue though we all fall short of the glory she has to remember that our strenght is found in the very word of God.

Michelle needs to quit playing with God. She needs to chose whether she wants to be a sinner or Christian. Sheesh! One minute she's catching the holy ghost and the next, she has her butt up in the air!
